Note: Official lyrics for the OP will be used in episode 4. Did not want to delay any further to change the lyrics.
As usual, the quality of the raw sources is not that great since its not broadcast in HD.  Will re-release later if HD or BD becomes available.
Also, distorted warp sharp filters does not equal quality! :P

[EDIT]  In v2 we added proper styling and chapters for those who care. Use the patch to transform the v1 into v2. :)

    Well.. it could be just me but each time I am hitting the torrentlink I get the “404 – Not Found”-page. :>

    No, it’s the nature of the ed kara effect. There is a mathrandom in the starting position, that’s why it’s a little off. I will change it in the next episode when the official lyrics are released.

    I liked the styling better when the fonts weren’t attached and it was defaulting to something else. The font you guys are using is way, way too thin. You should really switch to the regular or semibold version instead of light.

    Keeping the current font for now. The show is kind of dialogue-heavy. It’s the same one I used in Mouryou no Hako for that very reason. I really really despise splitting lines and sentences onto two different lines. If we get enough requests will switch to the bolder version of the same font.

    thanks. i just love your subs. i have a question though.

    at the beginning of episode 3, kondo isami said “By imperial command, we are here to inspect this inn.”

    but at the end of episode 2, he said “Under imperial proclamation, you are under arrest.”

    i’m wondering why there is a difference in translation since i think he said the same thing.

    TBH, it was difficult to tell what he was yelling. My final decision is that he’s actually saying:

    詮議のため宿内を改める!!!

    We are here to inspect this inn! The “under imperial proclomation” would be if he were saying Senge no tame, but I believe he was actually saying “sengi no tame”. To inspect.

    There are various translations of his initial announcement at the Ikedaya… “We have official business here”, “We’re here to inspect this place” , “You’re under arrest.”

    Anyway, that’s my final call. Sorry for the confusion.
